Apartment 1 in Block C, Phase 2, Palm Imperial at Gnoseon No 4 is
a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom ground floor apartment with a large open
plan lounge with dining area and adjoining fitted kitchen.
It is situated in a quiet cul-de–sac on the outskirts of the
traditional village of Oroklini, and at just 600 metres from the
beach & 7 kilometres from Larnaca airport, it is at an ideal
location. There is air conditioning/heating in the 3 bedrooms &
lounge. Entrance is from a door next to the car port and an Intercom
is connected to the Main Entrance as well as a doorbell. There is
a large communal swimming pool and an allocated parking space. The
entrance has been widened to allow wheelchair access & there
are ramps from the patio doors & kitchen door to allow a wheelchair
into the outside area.
THE LOUNGE.
The lounge has all you need for those relaxing
times, with a comfortable curved 7 seater settee & chaise-longue
around a coffee table. There is a television with British Channels
available, a video, DVD player, and a portable Sony Micro Hi-Fi
system with a few CDs for general use. In the corner of the lounge,
just off the kitchen area, there is a dining table & 8 chairs
for the more formal meal.
THE KITCHEN.
The kitchen contains a modern set of units with
ample cupboard space. It has a sizeable worktop & is equipped
with a 4 ring ceramic hob Oven, Microwave, Washing machine, Fridge
& Toaster. A door leads from the kitchen to the outdoor area
& in an undercover area is a washing drier and a broom holder.
BEDROOM ONE.
Bedroom one has a little bit of extra luxury with
a queen size (5 ft) bed. It has a substantial built in wardrobe
and bedside cabinets.
BEDROOM TWO.
A reasonably large room with twin beds, a built
in wardrobe & a bed side cabinet.
BEDROOM THREE.
This room has a double bed with a chest of drawers
& a bedside cabinet. This room has been adapted & has a
wider door to allow for wheelchair access. There is also a shower
in this room which again caters for a wheelchair.
BATHROOM.
The bathroom contains a bath, shower unit above
the bath, a toilet, a hand basin, towel rail & cabinet.
PATIO.
Since the apartment is a corner apartment, the
patio area is quite large going from south easterly facing at the
patio windows to south westerly facing at the kitchen door. It is
completely covered in stamped concrete. On the veranda is an outdoor
table & chairs for alfresco dining.
THE COMMUNAL POOL.
The communal pool is for the use of all residents
of Block C & their guests. It is situated at the back of the
block & can be found by walking up the side of the block.
OROKLINI.
The beautiful village of OROKLINI, although modest
in size, offers you the best of both worlds, a quiet place to relax
in the sun, plus bars, tavernas, bakery, supermarket, take- aways
and amenities such as banks, a chemist, a hairdresser as well as
being only a ten minute drive away from the hustle & bustle
of Larnaca. It has managed to hold on to the traditional feeling
of a village with old stone built houses and an old church at the
centre of the village. The entire village is overlooked by the Profitas
Elias Mountain & a charming church of the same name quietly
nests on the plateau which stretches the length & breadth of
the mountain. Its natural surroundings offer perfect conditions
for walking, hiking & mountain biking. Once on top, an inspirational
view awaits you, as you look down on the entire district of Larnaka
and beyond in one direction & the blue calm of the Mediterranean
in the other.
The stretch of coast that Oroklini covers is home to what is commonly
accepted as some of the best beaches in the Larnaca area and is
consequently where you will find numerous four star hotels. The
Cyprus Tourist Organisation (CTO) beach close to Oroklini is a governed
maintained beach which boasts clear shallow waters and fine golden
sands, recently winning the internationally recognised Blue Flag
Award. Its amenities include swings, merry-go-rounds, volley ball
areas, beach cafes, a few restaurants & lots of shaded areas.
The fact that it is government run means that it is cleaned and
maintained to the highest standards.
These beautiful sandy beaches are found a stones throw away and
the tourist strip which runs along the coast from the Princess Hotel
to the Golden Bay hotel is packed with bars, restaurants, cafes,
small supermarkets, banks, chemists, car hire & currency exchange
offices are easily reached.
